Julia completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University and now has almost a decade of experience working in the field.

Julia always had an interest in science and knew she wanted a career that involved helping others. After developing food intolerances as a teenager she experienced the impact dietary restrictions can have on quality of life. This sparked her interest in nutrition and she decided on a career as a dietitian so she could assist people in navigating required dietary changes.

She believes in a holistic approach to treatment, looking at all aspects of health and overall wellbeing. She is passionate about supporting people to make positive lifestyle changes that are sustainable over the long term. Julia will work alongside you to ensure you are receiving tailored and individualised support. When developing treatment plans and nutrition education, Julia ensures a client -centred focus in a mindful and empathetic manner, whilst providing evidenced-based care and acknowledging both clinical and non-clinical priorities.

Julia can help to manage a range of conditions including weight management, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, eating disorders and malnutrition. Julia also specialises in paediatric, prenatal and postnatal nutrition. 

Outside of work Julia enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two children. She has a love of food and enjoys cooking, eating out and trying new foods.
