Frequently Asked Questions

  • Initial appointments are up to 60 minutes and return consults are 30 minutes. This gives our Osteopaths time to listen and gain a comprehensive understanding of your body's needs and construct a treatment plan that suits you.

  • Your Osteopath will start by talking to you about why you’ve come to see us and listen to what issues or problems are bothering you. We will take a full medical history and then go through a biomechanical assessment so we can gain a deeper understanding of how your body is moving.

    Your Osteopath will then discuss a treatment plan with you and answer any questions you may have before moving on to hands on treatment. We believe it’s important you have an understanding of your injury so that we can work together to achieve your goals. After the treatment, your Osteopath will prescribe exercises or other advice to help your recovery continue outside of the treatment room.

  • Our Osteopaths take into consideration the effect that injuries or areas of tightness may have on other areas of the body. For example, an ankle injury may lead to limping and compensatory patterns favouring the other foot.

    Over time, this imbalance can lead to other injuries such as soreness in the other ankle, knee, hip or even back pain. We also provide lifestyle recommendations to alleviate daily stressors or habits that are contributing to your pain.

  • Yes, we can claim your private health insurance at the time of payment. If you want to check your private health cover the codes to reference are;
