Maddie Wright
B.HSc & M.HSc (Osteopathy), Osteopathy Australia Member
Maddie’s passion for Osteopathy stems from her desire to help people and her interactions with other osteopaths while playing Indoor Cricket at the State and National level. With a remarkable record of achievements, including two World Cup wins and multiple national titles, she understands the physical demands of sport and the importance of holistic care.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy and a Master of Health Science in Osteopathy from Victoria University, Maddie’s academic pursuits reflect her commitment to understanding the complexities of the human body. Her research project, “Female Athletes’ Perspective on Cyclical Loading as a Risk Management Tool”, highlights her dedication to enhancing athlete well-being. Additionally, her eight months of community placement at Sacred Heart provided her with valuable experience working with chronic pain patients, allowing her to refine her treatment approach.
Maddie believes in treating the whole person rather than just the symptoms. Her own journey through injuries has fueled her desire to provide compassionate care, helping her clients navigate their own challenges. She is particularly passionate about empowering and educating her clients on the importance of movement and self-care as essential components of their health.
When Maddie isn’t in clinic you’ll find her playing sport or catching up with friends with a wine or coffee in hand.
Maddie is available for osteopathy treatments at Collective Motion on a Wednesday morning, Thursday afternoon and Saturday mornings.
