At Collective Motion we want to work with you through all stages of your pregnancy. Our Pilates classes can be adapted to suit mums at all stages up to full term, working with your body as it undergoes the many changes that pregnancy brings.

We understand that each pregnancy is so unique. Having qualified instructors teach our classes means they have the knowledge and understanding of the pregnancy journey and can be guided by your limitations. 

Your pelvic floor muscles play a vital role both pre and postnatally. Doing Pilates in the initial stages of your pregnancy helps build strong foundations that you’ll carry through to your bubs arrival. As your baby develops our Pilates classes evolve with you, keeping you mobile and active as you grow closer to your bub’s arrival. 

Whether you’re a first time mum or been here before, we work to strengthen your body to help you deal with those challenging first few months and give you the tools to reduce soreness and injuries.

We journey with you throughout motherhood. After giving birth, seamlessly transition to our Mums & Bubs classes at the same clinic. This fosters a supportive community and helps you maintain your fitness while bonding with your baby.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! Having small class sizes of four clients allows our instructors to ensure you’re practicing within your capabilities for where your body is at the time. Our classes allow you to practice all the way to full term.

  • Definitely! You are welcome to join our Pregnancy Pilates classes as early in your pregnancy as you’d like.

  • Of course! Our classes only have a maximum of four per class, allowing our instructors to give you the guidance and help you need as a beginner.

  • No you don’t. Because our classes are taught by quality trained instructors who have extensive knowledge of pregnancy, they are able to assess and monitor your progression for you.

  • Because of the small class size and the extra training our instructors have done, there’s no need for you to do an assessment before attending. Simply book in and enjoy! Our instructors will always check for pain or injuries at the start of a class.
